EMA Executive Committee Meeting
The Malta Institute of Management will next week be hosting its first EMA Executive Committee Meeting since taking over the Presidency of the European Management Association (EMA) on 4th October ‘07, following a unanimous decision of the Annual Assembly of the EMA.
The EMA is a pan-European association of national management institutes and organisations concerned with management. Amongst its objectives one finds collaboration in research on core management issues and forging contacts with other international organisations in the field of management. Presently it has members from 14 different European countries.
This year’s Executive Committee Meeting will be held at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi, St. Julians, on 18th April 2008. Delegates from the Rationalisierungs- und Innovationszentrum der Deutschen Wirtschaft (RKW) from Germany, the Confederacion Española de Directivos y Ejecutivos (CEDE) from Spain, the Chartered Management Institute (UK), the Hellenic Management Association (HMA) from Greece, and the Baltic Management Foundation (Lithuania) will be participating at this meeting. There will also be two representatives from the Centre of Economic and Management Research (Romania) who will be attending as observers.
