The MIM which is the local accredited Training Centre for CIMA, which is the only international accountancy body with a sole focus on business and financial strategy within a broad commercial context. The Malta Institute of Management has been the first entity in Malta to spearhead the topic of Islamic Finance in Malta. This accreditation is another step towards the vision of Malta becoming an international Islamic Finance Centre. The statements made by the Vatican newspaper Osservatore Romano endorses MIM’s vision on Islamic Finance in Malta. Malta should accelerate even further its momentum to attract Islamic finance institutions in Malta. The issuance of a Sukuk by the Malta Government would give the quantum leap Malta requires.
