Credit Risk Management Seminar
The Credit Risk Management seminar held on the 5th February will tackle areas such as; the various methods of credit analysis, an investigation into how credit rating agencies work and their role in the Credit Crunch, also looking at managing credit risk within a company and analysing the process of financial distress, default and bankruptcy.
Given the turmoil of the past year, good credit analysis is more important than ever. Banks have lost billions of Pounds, Dollars and Euros as a result of their failure to analyse credit risk accurately. As a result many organisations which would normally be good credit risks, have found themselves cut off from supplies of credit and moving towards financial distress. The credit crisis has caused too much disruption. MIM feels there is the need for better credit analysis at all levels.
This event is being supported by the MIM collaborating partners; AirMalta, BOV, Business Today and organised in collaboration with the Malta Union of Bank Employees.
