Paradigm Shifts – The MIM National Economic Forum 2010
A paradigm is a set of rules that defines boundaries and tells us how to function within those boundaries. Once a paradigm takes hold, it strongly influences our perceptions of things and we will resist new ways of seeing the world and new approaches to solving problems. Only a paradigm shift will force us to reframe our thinking. Indeed, paradigm shifts move us from one way of seeing the world to another. And those shifts create powerful change.
In this light the Malta Institute of Management will be spearheading Paradigm Shifts –The MIM National Economic Forum 2010 on the 26th February at the Corinthia San Gorg Hotel where experts from different professional fields will come together to discuss the forthcoming challenges for the Maltese economy. A detailed overview of the major global economic changes with their impact on the national scenario will be discussed. Specifically, Real Estate, Financial Services, Tourism, Green Business, new business development opportunities in Africa with specific reference to Libya, SMEs, will be discussed. The Prime Minister will close the Forum.
