THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT

‘Public Sector Efficiency 4 Private Sector Effectiveness’ Breakfast Seminar

Our economy is under pressure as never before.  The global economic turmoil has led to a situation where our public sector organisations are facing new challenges and tasks while being staffed with people skilled to achieve old ones.  Pressures from tax payers and from politicians determined to steer away the economy from collapse, are forcing national budget cuts across various public organisations.  Simultaneously the private sector and citizens are becoming increasingly active and vocal, insisting that lower costs are accompanied by more efficient public services.

With these pressures in mind, this business breakfast seminar aims to present a forum for discussion to review, from various perspectives, the role of an ever changing public sector in the face of new economic challenges.
