Powers, Functions and Duties of Company Directors: MIM, IoD & MFSA
In a joint initiative between the Malta Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors- Malta, a series of workshops will be conducted with the support of the Malta Financial Service Authority (MFSA) entitled ‘Powers, Functions and Duties of Company Directors’ between 30th June and 28th July 2011 at the MFSA in Mriehel. The main scope of these sessions is to inspire debate on the powers, functions, duties and issues facing company directors. The 5 workshops will serve as part of a consultative framework with the intention of compiling and presenting a report to the MFSA with the view to improve the quality of corporate governance in Malta and to update its initial guidelines on the subject.
