The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting  is the route into the professional qualification for students with little or no accounting background. It is also a recognised qualification in its own right which is valued by employers. The Certificate in Business Accounting is designed to give participants a solid grounding in accounting fundamentals.

The certificate subjects are:

• Fundamentals of management accounting
• Fundamentals of financial accounting
• Fundamentals of business mathematics
• Fundamentals of business economics
• Fundamentals of ethics, corporate governance and business law

You can sit the five certificate subjects in any order and in any combination to suit your requirements. As an additional benefit the lessons normally qualify for Structured CPE hours for accountants.  The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting is examined by computer based assessment. You can sit assessments at any time of the year. The schedule consists of two lectures per week for approximately 6 months.

This programme is ideal for any person, from school and college leavers through to senior professionals with years of experience. Neither prior qualifications nor prior experience are required to gain entry to the Certificate in Business Accounting. At a glance interested individuals may be:
