The institute of Indirect Taxation was founded in 1991 to establish a professional body of indirect tax practitioners to regulate and support its members in providing services to clients of a recognised and consistently high standard. It is the only professional organisation that specialises totally in supporting standards and professionals in indirect taxation.

Diploma in VAT Compliance

The Malta Institute of Management, in collaboration with the IIT, have designed a Diploma course in VAT specifically for Maltese students. The diploma indicates a high level of competence in Maltese VAT legislation.

The diploma guides you step by step through the Malta legislation and will expose you to more refined legislation such as that of the U.K. At the end of the course students will have an insight of Malta and UK VAT. They shall be in a better position to plan the organisation affairs in a VAT efficient way.
