Islamic Finance industry‘s growth is estimated at 20 percent per year worldwide. The potential of Malta in the sector, given the high interest that various international organisations expressed and given its geographic strategic position, is tremendous. The Government of Malta is shortly expected to make the relevant legislative changes in order to facilitate the introduction of Islamic Finance in Malta

The Malta Institute of Management has been the first entity in Malta to spearhead the topic of Islamic Finance in Malta. As part of its support to the implementation of Islamic Finance in Malta, the MIM has reached an agreement with CIMA to provide for the Certificate of Islamic Finance in Malta. MIM shall be supporting participants in this Certificate, with classroom based lectures and also through various seminars.
